Heading back to her aparment in New York – January 5 [HQ]

Out and about in her current hometown, Ashlee Simpson was spotted earlier today (January 5) in New York City.

Sporting an all black ensemble and drawing quite the paparazzi crowd, the “Pieces of Me” songstress smiled graciously as she headed back into the apartment she, husband Pete Wentz and baby Bronx have been renting.

On Monday, a bundled up Ms Simpson took her 1-year-old son for a stroll before heading to the Ambassador Theater for one of her performances as Roxie Hart in the popular musical, “Chicago.”

In other news, Ashlee’s ex boyfriend and musician, Ryan Cabrera recently opened about seeing pictures of Ash and her new family.

The singer told press, “Back at home, for Christmas, I was hanging out with Jessica (Simpson) and saw pics of Ashlee’s babies and stuff. It’s kind of cool. It’s not weird in terms of me seeing her with someone else, but it’s weird because I’m like, ‘Whoa, is that what we’re supposed to be doing?’”
