Drawing an end to their fun-filled family getaway, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted with son Bronx at the Maui Airport in Hawaii on Tuesday (April 27).

Following a week-long stay in the tropical island locale, the “Pieces of Me” singer and her Fall Out Boy hubby were all smiles as they made their way into the terminal ahead of the flight back to the mainland.

The trip comes as Ashlee enjoys some much-deserved time off following a long run on Broadway for the stage show “Chicago”.

Meanwhile, Pete continues to be active on his Twitter account, dishing words of wisdom over the weekend by saying, “It took me about 25 years to learn one of the most important lessons of my life: you can’t put out one fire with another fire.”

Banky’s Exit Through The Gift Shop Los Angeles Premiere – April 12 [MQ]

They’re always up for a good time and last night (April 12) Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted at the premiere of Banksy’s movie “Exit Through the Gift Shop” in Los Angeles.

The “Pieces of Me” songstress and her former Fall Out Boy rocker joined a host of celebrities including Joaquin Phoenix, Juliette Lewis, Minnie Driver, and Daryl Hannah at the Los Angeles Theater in Downtown LA.

In related news, Pete took over the directing duties on Train’s new music video “If It’s Love” and found a special friend in the band’s lead singer Pat Monohan.

“I got to know Pat and realized that we were kind of kindred spirits. I’ve been through the wringer, but he’s been through the wringer, like, 20 times more than me, and he shared a lot of experiences and told me a lot of stuff. And since early on in Fall Out Boy, I’d write the treatments with [director] Alan [Ferguson]. And [Fall Out Boy's] ‘I Don’t Care’ video, I co-directed with Alan. So it’s something that I’ve always had a passion for.”
